Brokerage specialist Transplace announced that it has created a supply chain consulting practice to broaden service offerings to customers.
The new business of the Dallas, Texas-based company is staffed by consultants with transportation and logistics experience that is designed to improve end-to-end supply chain performance, a Transplace statement said. The company is ranked No. 15 among Transport Topics’ brokerage firms.
“We are thrilled to launch this exciting new strategic business unit offering an industry-leading logistics consulting, analytics and market intelligence practice,” said Brooks Bentz, president of supply chain consulting for Transplace.
The statement from Transplace said consulting services include supply chain optimization, transportation optimization, sourcing and procurement, asset management, business intelligence and analytics and enabling technology.
