TravelCenters of America Names Jonathan Pertchik CEO

TravelCenters of America Inc. appointed Jonathan Pertchik CEO effective immediately.
Pertchik succeeds Andrew Rebholz, who will continue to advise the company through June 30. Rebholz had been with TA for 22 years.
Most recently, Pertchik served as CEO of Intown Suites, the largest wholly owned, extended stay hotel chain in the United States, where he doubled earnings before interest taxes depreciation and amortization through disciplined cost control and transformative growth initiatives, according to Westlake, Ohio-based TA.
“I am looking forward to applying established transformative practices from my prior turnaround experience to increase cash flows and margins and create a more efficient organization,” Pertchik said in a release. — Transport Topics
