Trimac’s Earnings Dip in 1Q

Canada-based transportation firm Trimac Income Fund said its first-quarter net earnings fell to C$1.5 million or 5 cents per unit, from C$3.7 million or 7 cents a year earlier.

Revenue dipped to C$79.1 million from C$80.6 million a year ago, Trimac said in a statement Friday.

Trimac does not include its U.S. operations in its publicly stated earnings, which only encompass its Canadian operations.

Trimac Transportation System is ranked No. 43 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
