United Road Unveils Load-Matching Application

Vehicle-hauler United Road Services Inc. launched an app designed to help its third-party carriers find and book vehicle loads 24 hours a day, the Romulus, Mich., company announced Sept. 19.
United Road officials said the mobile-based logistics platform Haully.com was built to strengthen the company’s relationships with its more than 4,500 third-party carrier partners.

United Road said it expects to move about 4 million vehicles in 2019. The car hauler said the app will have real-time notification of desirable vehicle loads, in lanes based on carrier profiles.

Haully can be used on multiple devices, from cellphones to desktops, company officials said.
Founded in 1998, the company manages the transport of more than 3½ million vehicles annually. United Road ranks No. 54 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America.
It has operating locations across the U.S. and Canada, with more than 1,700 employees and 2,500 company-owned and independent vehicle carriers, and 4,500 third-party carrier partners.
Customers include all major global vehicle manufacturers, remarketers, financial institutions, car auctions, car dealers, rental companies and online sellers.
