United Van Lines Canada Names Dan Lawrence President
United Van Lines Canada named Dan Lawrence president, with responsibility for the company’s five operating divisions under the corporate group MoverOne Group.
Lawrence was most recently vice president of finance at the company, which he joined 30 years ago after graduating college, according to the company.

Concurrent to Lawrence’s appointment, Anne Martin, the company’s former president, retired after a 35-year career with 18 years as president, according to the company. She will stay with the company to ensure a smooth transition until the end of the year and will serve as an adviser to the company and board on key strategic initiatives for two years following, the company said.
The company’s five divisions include United Van Lines Canada, Mayflower Canada, MoverOne International, Univan Leasing and MoverOne Logistics. Lawrence will report directly to the board of directors, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based company.
