UPS Appoints Stephen Denton to Lead Ware2Go

Stephen Denton was appointed CEO of on-demand fulfillment platform Ware2Go Inc., the company announced Feb. 4.

A subsidiary of UPS Inc., Atlanta-based Ware2Go operates a nationwide fulfillment network designed to help merchants position products closer to end customers.

“We are pleased to have an entrepreneur of Steve’s caliber lead the Ware2Go team,” UPS Chief Transformation Officer Scott Price said in a statement. “His results-driven leadership in commerce, tech and logistics, coupled with his success transforming startup businesses into profitable enterprises will prove invaluable as Ware2Go accelerates its growth.”

UPS said in its announcements that Denton has led the acquisitions and integrations of a dozen organizations in various industries. He previously served as general manager and vice president of marketing solutions at eBay Inc.

Denton’s extensive background in logistics, technology startups, platform sales and marketing will benefit Ware2Go as it looks to expand, UPS said. The company provides small and midsize businesses with access to warehousing, fulfillment, technology and financial services.

“I’m very excited to join the team at Ware2Go as we help merchants and manufacturers compete on a global scale,” Denton said in a statement.
