The UPS Logistics Group announced two more acquisitions June 14, expanding its service parts logistics business onto five continents this year.
The most recent growth focus on Asia, Australia and South America. Earlier this year, the logistics group added to its European and North American operations.
In this round of expansion, UPS signed definitive agreements to purchase Computer Logistics Solutions of Sydney, Australia, and Comlasa of Miami.
CLS also operates in New Zealand and other 11 Asian countries, including Japan, China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand. Although a U.S.-chartered firm, Comlasa does most of its business in Latin America and the Caribbean.
