Technology solutions provider Velociti Inc. has doubled its current warehousing space by moving operations to a new facility, the technology solutions provider announced June 7.
The 65,000-square-foot site doubles door capacity to 12, has higher ceilings for increased racking capabilities and provides the space needed for optimal product flow. Velociti moved to the space due to rapidly increasing technology adoption, strong demand for its VeloCare technology health monitoring and repair service, and concerns over supply chain constraints.
“The current uncertainty within the supply chain is causing companies to proactively purchase and store more inventory than they have in the past,” said Ryan Powell, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “With this significant expansion, Velociti is well-positioned to meet our customers’ needs now and grow with them into the future.”

Velociti said the new warehouse is less than a mile from its headquarters in Riverside, Mo. The location means shipments can get anywhere in the lower 48 states from one to three days. The original warehouse location was attached to the headquarters. That space will now house an expansion of the Innovation Lab and the Customer Experience center.
The new facility features wireless technology and management systems to maximize efficiency and visibility into day-to-day operations. It also features additional sustainability and safety features, including LED lighting, EV charging stations, trailer lockdown capabilities at dock doors and security systems. — Transport Topics
