Velociti is aiming to help enterprise businesses develop technology innovations with the opening of Velociti Innovation Lab, the company announced April 28.
The lab was launched to help firms build and test technology that drives business agility and increases revenue. It was created in response to what the company sees as a rapid rate of change that businesses are experiencing.
“We have created the ultimate technology playground for businesses to come and explore what technology best suits their unique needs,” Velociti President Deryk Powell said in a statement. “Our multidisciplinary team of experts ranging from solutions engineers and project managers to configuration specialists and professional installation technicians helps businesses make the right technology decisions that will maximize ROI on their technology investment.”
Velociti is a global technology company based in Kansas City, Mo. It serves sectors including transportation, retail, food service, manufacturing and distribution. The lab is located alongside its headquarters and encompasses more than 85,000 square feet.
“When businesses come to the lab’s vast warehouse environment,” Powell said, “they can truly envision the process as we select and test industry-specific technology solutions long before anything is deployed, which saves companies both time and money.” — Transport Topics
