Volvo Produces Video to Honor Nation’s Truckers
To thank the professional truck drivers “who literally move our world,” Volvo has released a short film in conjunction with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Titled “The Movers,” it lasts for about a minute and a half and includes a variety of images of truckers and vehicles at work.

“Professional truck drivers play a crucial role in almost every aspect of our daily lives, safely transporting the food, fuel, and consumer goods that sustain us and make life comfortable,” Volvo Trucks North America President Peter Voorhoeve said in a press release. “I would like to see a greater appreciation of the truck driver profession because they have a vast effect on North America’s economic strength. As a truck OEM, we are committed to actively contributing to help improve the perception throughout society.”
