Werner Enterprises is integrating Decisiv into its application programming interface to expand its repair network, the company announced Dec. 2.
The Decisiv Service Relationship Management (SRM) connects dealers, service providers, manufacturers and fleets so they can communicate and collaborate during service. Werner will integrate that data into its EDGE Application Programming Interface.
“Werner Enterprises is pleased to be working with Decisiv as part of our long-term plan to implement technology solutions that move both Werner and the industry forward,” Daragh Mahon, chief information officer at Werner, said. “Now more than ever, there is a need to increase efficiencies in our industry.”
Werner said that it now has immediate access to 5,000 repair shops through the Decisiv network. The company also said the integration will result in fewer direct calls because estimates are now automatically uploaded to its breakdown management system saving an estimated 15 minutes per repair order.
“Through continued investment in our technology, we are able to improve our response times, remedy breakdowns quickly for improved safety and provide better customer service by communicating status updates faster and more accurately to our drivers and customers,” Mahon said.
The SRM solution streamlines the asset service management process, bringing diagnostic, telematics and asset information together for all participants.
Werner ranks No. 17 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of largest for-hire carriers in North America and No. 30 on the TT Top 50 list of largest logistics companies. — Transport Topics
