Debbie Sparks, vice president of the Women In Trucking Association, has been named to the board of directors for Wreaths Across America.
Wreaths Across America honors veterans by placing wreaths at graves across the country. The group works with about 2,500 participating locations, including Arlington National Cemetery.
The trucking industry plays a large role in the transport of the wreaths.
Sparks has served as vice president of the Women In Trucking Association since January 2020. Prior to joining the association, Sparks worked for Wreaths Across America.

“Debbie is a long-time supporter of the mission to remember, honor and teach, and she understands the impact the trucking industry has in the program’s success each year,” said Karen Worcester, executive director of Wreaths Across America. “We are thrilled that she will be joining our board of directors to lend her expertise and experience to help us move forward the mission of the association.”
