Wright Express Sees 2Q Profit

Wright Express Corp. said Wednesday it earned a second-quarter profit of $93.2 million, or $2.36 per share, compared to a loss of $24.4 million, or 63 cents, in the same quarter last year.

Revenue fell 29% to $78.6 million, the company said in a statement. Wright Express provides payment processing and information management services to fleets.

The average retail fuel price fell 41% to $2.33 per gallon in the quarter, from $3.96 a year ago, the company said.
