YRC Freight, the nationwide trucking operation of YRC Worldwide Inc., has added three vice presidents to its management team and promoted another to a higher post.
Tim Haitz became senior vice president of sales and marketing, moving up from his post as vice president of sales. He is a 30-year YRC Freight employee and succeeds Bill Crowe, who retired after 30 years at the company.
YRC Worldwide ranks No. 5 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
Chet Richardson became vice president of transportation at YRC Freight. Paul Lorensen became a division vice president for the company’s central division. Both men had worked at Con-Way Freight.
Don Hinkle became vice president of equipment services. Hinkle had previously worked at YRC Freight and returns to the company after 13 years at FedEx Freight.
YRC Worldwide is based in Overland Park. It owns regional trucking companies Holland, Reddaway and New Penn in addition to YRC Freight.
