Third-party logistics provider DB Schenker purchased a $25 million stake in online freight intermediary uShip, strengthening a partnership between the companies that work on a joint European venture.

Freight intermediary uShip has appointed Mike Williams its next CEO, effective Feb. 13.

Matt Chasen, CEO of uShip, announced on his company’s blog Dec. 1 that he’s stepping down from the post and leaving the company he founded in 2003.
