Accuride Corp., a supplier of wheels and wheel-end systems to the global commercial vehicle industry, appointed Robin Kendrick to the post of CEO, effective June 1.
Most recently, Kendrick was president of BorgWarner’s turbo systems business.
He succeeds Jason Luo, who has been the interim president and CEO since January 2019. Luo assumed the posts after the January resignation of former CEO Rick Dauch, who left to become CEO of Delphi Technologies.
Luo, who also serves as a senior advisor to Crestview Partners, the majority owner of Accuride, will step down as interim CEO and assume the role of chairman, replacing Crestview co-founder Thomas Murphy, who will remain a member of the board.
Accuride Corp. is based in Evansville, Ind. Its products, among others, include steel and aluminum commercial vehicle wheels and wheel-end components and assemblies. — Transport Topics
