Ag Transporters Integrate With ATA

The Agricultural Transporters Conference of American Trucking Associations has become the first of ATA’s five managed conferences to agree to fully integrate itself into its parent organization.

The conference’s board of directors voted last month to endorse ATA’s strategic plan as well as adopt its revised dues structure.

“We made this important decision because the strong advocacy and valuable services provided by ATA will be of positive benefit to the bottom line of every agricultural transporter operating in the United States,” said Charles Whittington, chairman of the argicultural group.

The Agricultural Transporters Conference represents carriers of agricultural commodities, forest products and natural resources.
