Air-Weigh Says Its Scales Standard on Kalyn Siebert Trailers

Onboard scale manufacturer Air-Weigh said that Kalyn Siebert, a subsidiary of Heil Trailer International, has made the Air-Weigh’s trailer scales standard on its heavy-haul trailers.

The scales will include a light-emitting diode, or LED, overweight warning light, Air-Weigh said in a statement.

When adjusting the suspension slider, drivers can use the warning light to tell when the load is properly distributed over the axles, the company said.

Air-Weigh said that in addition to saving loading time, on-board scales eliminate the need for weighing at an in-ground scale.

Kalyn Siebert is a manufacturer of heavy haul, oilfield and wind energy trailers.
