Aljex Introduces Truck Capacity Search Tool

Aljex Software has launched a software tool designed to help freight brokers proactively search for available trucks in today’s tight-capacity market.

Capacity Hub enables brokers to search for available or soon-to-be available equipment from various carriers rather than simply posting loads and waiting for a response.

“By searching for equipment proactively rather than waiting for carrier responses, a broker can gain an edge over the competition by booking equipment before anyone else,” Aljex CEO Tom Heine said in the Jan. 19 announcement.

“The capacity crunch has changed the broker landscape, the way things were done in the past,” he said. “We’re providing Aljex customers with a way to deal with the new realities and to succeed.”

Aljex, based in Middlesex, New Jersey, provides transportation management software for brokers, carriers and third-party logistics providers.
