Aperia Technologies Inc., a supplier of tire management offerings, announced its Pro+ program is intended to make it easier for fleets to secure tech support for their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic without upfront costs.
The Pro+ program can be canceled after 12 months of service, and monthly fees are automatically waived when a vehicle is not being used, according to the Burlingame, Calif.-based company.
Aperia’s Halo is an automatic tire inflation system that keeps truck tires from falling below the optimal tire pressure range. Introduced in 2019, Halo Connect is a connectivity platform that enables fleets to virtually eliminate unplanned downtime through predictive analytics.

With roadside breakdowns occurring every 10,000 miles, according to a recent American Trucking Associations benchmarking report, optimally inflated tires are key in keeping trucks on the road and delivering vital goods and services.
“As a company that cares deeply about the success of our fleet customers and industry as a whole, and understands the vital role the trucking industry plays in delivering essential services and goods across the United States, our No. 1 priority is to help them succeed during these challenging times,” CEO Josh Carter said in a release. — Transport Topics
