Aperia Offers Virtual Training

Aperia Technologies Inc. announced it has introduced a tire-related virtual training and support platform to continue to meet the needs of professional trucking fleets when in-person training and support is not possible.
The platform, available at its website, features product, maintenance and tire pressure dynamics modules, as well as recommended learning paths and a certification program, according to the Burlingame, Calif.-based company, a supplier of automatic tire inflation systems.
With roadside breakdowns occurring every 10,000 miles, according to a recent American Trucking Associations benchmarking report, optimally inflated tires are key in keeping trucks on the road and delivering vital goods and services. In addition, the cost of an unscheduled roadside repair continues to increase. Aperia reported the average cost of a roadside repair is $450. — Transport Topics
