Asche Alleges Financial Misdealing by Executives

Asche Transportation Services fired Chairman Larry L. Asche and Vice President Diane L. Asche, his wife, for allegedly misappropriating $1 million in company funds over a number of years.

The couple made improper payments to parties related to them for leased trailer maintenance, along with unauthorized payments and reimbursements over a number of years, an investigation by an outside auditing firm found, according to the trucking company.

Litigation has been filed against the couple and others to recover the alleged improper payments, the company said in a statement released Feb. 28.
