ATA to Host Military Freight Meeting

American Trucking Associations will conduct a meeting with officials from the Military Transportation Management Command to discuss changes in motor carrier freight rules and installation operating hours.

The session will take place Oct. 26 at ATA’s headquarters in Alexandria, Va.

At MTMC’s request, members of the National Defense Transportation Association, National Motor Freight Traffic Association and the Munitions Carriers Association will be invited to the meeting.

Paul Stalknecht, senior vice president for federation relations at the trucking association, will also provide member carriers with an update on establishing an ATA-managed Government Traffic Services Conference.
