ATA Names Danny Neal VP of National Sales

American Trucking Associations said Wednesday it has named Danny Neal to be ATA’s new vice president of national sales.

“Danny has been a valuable part of our ATA membership team recruiting and retaining members in the western U.S.,” ATA President Bill Graves said.

“That experience, along with his extensive knowledge of the trucking industry, makes him well suited to promote all the benefits of ATA to our industry’s many allied partners and suppliers,” he said in a statement.

Neal — who has been with ATA since 2003 and was the group’s western regional vice president of membership — will be responsible for promoting the value of ATA membership to the industry’s growing community of suppliers, manufacturers and service providers.

Prior to coming to ATA, Neal spent more than two decades in sales and marketing in the trucking industry, most recently as western regional sales manager for Lockheed Martin Corp.’s PrePass Division.

Neal, a graduate of University of Alabama, is based in Carlsbad, Calif.
