Trucking industry leaders are being asked to rank their top concerns and ways to address them, in the American Transportation Research Institute’s 11th annual issues survey launched Aug. 4.
“In complex times like this, it is critical that we do our part to help ensure a thriving future for the trucking industry. With your participation, we can speak with a collective industry voice on the issues most important to us,” said American Trucking Associations Chairman Duane Long, chairman of Longistics, based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
ATRI will unveil the survey’s results at ATA’s annual Management Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for October in Philadelphia.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s hours-of-service rule for truckers topped ATRI’s 2014 survey of critical issues facing the trucking industry.
ATRI is trucking’s not-for-profit research group.
The survey is available at ATRI’s website, www.atri-online.org.
