Bo Wevil Express Strengthens Its Position With Acquisition

Bo Wevil Express has acquired the dry van division of A.J. Metler Hauling & Rigging of Morristown, Tenn.

President William T. McManus said the deal will boost annual revenue by 25% and 73 tractors and 133 trailers to its fleet of 270 power units and 620 trailers.

The expansion will strengthen Bo Wevil’s position in the regional transportation market and boost the company’s annual revenue to between $40 million and $50 million this year, McManus said.

Bo Wevil is a division of 21st American Drivers Holding Co. in Vonore, Tenn.
