John Boehner (R-Ohio) has been re-elected to a third term as speaker of the House, despite defections by 25 Republicans, who didn’t vote or cast their votes for a handful of other names.

Rep. Daniel Webster (R-Fla.) attracted the most anti-Boehner votes with 12 on Jan. 6, the first day of the new Congress.

Throughout his tenure as speaker, Boehner has had to contend with fractious Republican Party ranks in the House that include a conservative contingent that often bucks him on policy issues.

On the Democratic side, only four votes were cast for representatives other than House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
