ATA gives the award to a vice president that best helps advance the goals of the association and the trucking industry.
“Without leaders like Greg, ATA would be unable to do the important work our members ask us to do, so we thank him and all our state vice presidents,” ATA Senior Vice President for Membership Dave Brodie said.
ATA started honoring its state vice presidents with the Dameo Award in 2014, which comes with a $5,000 contribution to the winner’s state trucking association.
Previous winners were: Mike Wilson of Whitewood Transport in Billings, Montana; Kevin Lhotak of Reliable Transportation Specialists in Chicago; and G. Clifton Parker of G&P Trucking in Gaston, South Carolina.
