Carrier Execs Use Nasstrac Pulpit to Drum Up New Business

NAPLES, Fla. - Five disciplined, powerful, high-ranking trucking executives were given an assignment and all of them avoided it. There was just too much selling to do.

At the annual conference of the National Small Shipments Traffic Conference, a shippers’ trade group, corporate officers of some of the nation’s largest carriers were supposed to talk about important trends in transportation and commerce in the preferred Nasstrac style of useful information imparted in a manner that minimizes self-aggrandizement. That did not quite happen.
