C.H. Robinson Appoints Mike Zechmeister Chief Financial Officer

C.H. Robinson Worldwide announced Mike Zechmeister will join the company as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 3.
Zechmeister most recently served as chief financial officer of United Natural Foods Inc. Prior to that, he spent 25 years at General Mills.

“I would also like to thank Scott Hagen for his leadership and continuity as interim chief financial officer in this important transition,” C.H. Robinson CEO Bob Biesterfeld said in a company release.
Hagen will continue to serve as controller, according to the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company.
“[Zechmeister] brings tremendous finance acumen and experience strengthening financial planning and analysis capabilities and driving growth through effective business partnership,” Biesterfeld said.
