ChassisFinder.com Launches App
Chassis-reservation website Chassisfinder.com said it has developed the first app to allow truck drivers and logistics companies to find and reserve chassis.
The app is free for Android and iPhone users and enables them to find chassis available for daily lease across the country, according to the company.
“This is a big step towards making chassis procurement as easy as possible for truckers, 3PLs and other chassis users,” Chassis Finder President Bill Knight said in a statement. “A chassis can be reserved on Chassisfinder.com in less than a minute. The new app makes that process even faster and more mobile-friendly.”
The app uses a smart phone’s GPS capabilities to find the closest available chassis and also provides directions to its location.
“Chassisfinder.com has changed the way we lease chassis, because we can use the exchange anytime, 24/7, to reserve a chassis in near real-time,” Scott Hopkins, senior accountant of BP Express, said in a statement. “With the new app, it will be even easier to reserve chassis from mobile devices, removing more time and expense from the process.”
