Clean Diesel Raises Funds

STAMFORD, Conn. — Clean Diesel Technologies said it raised approximately $1.85 million from European investors to continue funding the development of fuel additives to reduce diesel engine emissions.

The start-up company also said it has entered into discussions with potential partners to commercialize three diesel engine product groups.

The products include the ARIS 2000 NOx reduction technology, Platinum Plus fuel catalysts for particulate filters and Platinum Plus fuel catalysts for premium diesel.

Clean Diesel canceled a pending rights offering of $2 million of series B preferred stock and said all of its outstanding debt has been converted into preferred stock.
