Clean Energy Fuels Corp. appointed Frank Meyer president of subsidiary Clean Energy Compression.
He brings 24 years of leadership experience, including general manager with Finning International, the largest Caterpillar dealer in the world, the Newport Beach, Calif.-based company said.
“Frank has an enormous amount of expertise and is highly respected within the manufacturing industry. I look forward to working with him as we continue to drive innovation and growth in the natural gas compression industry,” Clean Energy CEO Andrew Littlefair said in a statement.
The Chilliwack, British Columbia-based unit supplies compressed natural gas fueling systems, including compressors, dispensers, gas control and storage systems for vehicle applications and bulk CNG transportation.
Clean Energy Fuels builds and operates CNG and liquefied natural gas vehicle fueling stations; manufactures CNG and LNG equipment and technologies; develops renewable natural gas production facilities; and delivers more CNG and LNG vehicle fuel than any other company in the United States, according to the company.
