CLX Medical Adds Flatbed, Step Deck Service

Austin, Texas, motor carrier and logistics service CLX Medical has begun offering flatbed and step deck trucking logistics from its trucking division in McAlester, Okla.

CLX, which does business as Stealth Logistics Group, said Thursday the new trucking service will start with two Peterbilt tractors with flatbed trailers. Negotiations for additional trucks are on-going with an unnamed truckmaker, CLX said.

The company said there’s a large concentration of flatbed and step deck hauling in the Texas-Oklahoma region.

“The decision to start a new division for SLG is part of our business platform and growth strategy,” said Daniel Honig, CLX Medical and Stealth Logistics vice president of operations, in a statement.

“We feel that this expansion approach to our logistics business is essential to our growth and we continue to look into other areas and states to duplicate our business platform,” added Jose Chavez, chief executive of Stealth Logistics.
