Canadian firm Contrans Income Fund said Wednesday its fourth-quarter income was C$7.5 million, or 31 cents per unit, compared with C$7.8 million, or 31 cents, a year ago.
Revenue was about flat at C$103.3 million, the company said in a statement.
For the full year, profit fell to C$26.2 million, or 91 cents, from $35.8 million, or C$1.26, a year earlier.
Separately, the company said it will transfer the operational and administrative functions of its Brookville Carriers Van subsidiary in Saint John, New Brunswick, and Milton, Ontario, to the offices of its Laidlaw Carriers Van subsidiary in Guelph, Ontario.
Contrans also said all administrative functions for its flatbed business in eastern Canada will be moved to the fund’s General Freight Carriers facility in Saint John, New Brunswick.
The changes are slated to go into effect in April.
Contrans is ranked No. 68 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
