Coyote Logistics to Open Atlanta Office, Add 325 Jobs
Coyote Logistics will open a 48,000-square-foot office in northeast Atlanta and create 325 jobs, spending more than $6 million to make the move.
The Chicago third-party logistics provider, a subsidiary of Atlanta-based UPS Inc., ranks No. 5 on the Transport Topics sector list of the top freight brokerage firms in North America.
“Just last year, UPS committed to a major regional package operations expansion in Atlanta. Georgia’s programs to provide tax credits for new jobs and our Quick Start training program helps the brightest in our area prepare for new, well-paying career opportunities, like those to be offered by Coyote,” Gov. Nathan Deal said.
“The Atlanta office will provide new space for our growing customer, carrier, operations and 24/7 customer service teams,” Coyote President Jonathan Sisler said. “We’ve already built relationships with area colleges and universities, and will continue to draw upon top local talent for sales and customer service positions.”
Coyote has about 450 employees in its Alpharetta, Ga., office.
