CRST Selects New Group President

Bill Clement Will Work Closely With Executive Leadership

CRST has appointed Bill Clement as its new group president and chief strategy officer, the carrier announced Sept. 19.

Per a company release, Clement will work closely with executive leadership to help develop a strategic approach to durable revenue growth and market differentiation. He will continue to lead the company’s specialized and home services teams along with his new responsibilities.

“Bill brings a wealth of strategic insight and exceptional leadership experience to this position,” said CRST CEO Mike Gannon. “His ability to build strong relationships and foster a collaborative environment will be instrumental in advancing CRST’s mission.”



Clement joined the company as president of its specialized solutions team in 2018. Prior to that, he spent more than two decades in various leadership roles at CSX Transportation.

“This is an exciting opportunity to lead our incredible team towards achieving sustainable growth and market excellence,” Clement said. “I look forward to building on our strengths and achieving new milestones together.”
