STA United, a drug-testing company that primarily serves the trucking industry, has been acquired by DAC Services, a company that provides carriers with background checks on driver applicants.

DAC Services is owned by Total Information Services of Tulsa, Okla., and provides pre-employment personnel background screening to trucking and other industries. DAC sells employers information on job applicants consisting of driving and criminal records, employment histories and workers’ compensation claims.
