Daimler to Provide Financing to U.S. Mitsubishi Fuso Dealers, Customers

Daimler Truck Financial said Monday it will begin providing financial products and services for more than 175 U.S. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America dealers and their customers.

Daimler — which provides financial services for Freightliner, Western Star, Sprinter and Thomas Built Bus dealers and customers — manages about $5 billion which includes more than 120,000 commercial vehicles and 70% of Freightliner and Western Star wholesale dealer inventory.

MFTA markets Class 3 through Class 5 cabover work trucks designed to deliver the lowest cost of ownership in their class.

The two said they will provide customers with third-quarter financing options of as low as 0.9% for qualified customers.

MFTA, Logan Township, N.J., is a subsidiary of Kawasaki, Japan-based Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp., part of the Daimler Trucks Division of Daimler AG.
