Dan Case, Head of Oklahoma Trucking Association, Dies at 63

Dan Case, executive director of the Oklahoma Trucking Association, died Sept. 17 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was 63.  

Case began his tenure as executive director of OTA in May 2002 after a 35-year career in trucking.

“He was a champion of the industry and the association, building strong bonds with local law enforcement. Through his work with legislative leaders in Oklahoma, he forever improved the trucking industry in our great state,” OTA said in a statement. “He will be dearly missed as he was not just a colleague, but also a friend to many. He was beloved and held in high regard with all who came in contact with him.”

Case is survived by his wife, Barbra; son and daughter, Travis and Mary Beth; father, Clark; and brother, Ken.
