Regional less-than-truckload carrier Dayton Freight Lines introduced a new expedited service using ground and air transportation.
DFXpedited Service, or DFX, will serve all of North America, using cargo vans and tractor-trailers to same-day flights and air charters, the company said, adding that the service is designed to address same- and next-day needs for fast and efficient shipping.
“DFX is designed to offer around-the-clock service for urgent, on-demand situations. Our same brand of customer-centric focus went into the design of DFX, and I know shippers will appreciate the care and attention we give their expedited freight,” said Dave Brady, vice president of sales.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, the carrier has 45 service centers in the Midwest and offers one- or two-day service to thousands of points throughout an 11-state area. With its strategic alliance network, it serves all of North America.
Dayton Freight Lines ranks No. 65 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers and is the 17th-largest LTL carrier.
