Delaware, Ruan Look to Soy-Based Products
Two new applications have been announced for fuel and lubrication products made from soybeans.
The Delaware Department of Transportation plans to use biodiesel made from a blend of soybean oil and conventional diesel in its state vehicles.
Ruan Transportation Management Systems announced the completion of field testing of a grease for fifth wheels that uses 70% soybean oil. The tests were conducted by the University of Northern Iowa’s Ag-based Industrial Lubricants Research Program.
