Delphi's Losses Narrow in Q2

Bankrupt auto parts supplier Delphi Corp., Troy, Mich., said it net loss in the second-quarter narrowed to $821 million or $1.46 a share, from $2.3 billion or $4.05 a share in 2006.

Revenue was flat at $7 billion, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

During the quarter, Delphi said it spent $301 million to close a plant in Spain and trim jobs as part of its ongoing reorganization efforts.
