Peter DeFazio of Oregon, ranking Democrat on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, has announced the Democrats who will serve on T&I in the new Congress.
DeFazio said in the Jan. 14 announcement that the subcommittee ranking members will be elected next week.
Of the 25 Democrats on the committee, Jared Huffman and Julia Brownley, both of California, are new.
In addition to DeFazio, the returning members are: Eleanor Holmes Norton, the District of Columbia representative; Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Corrine Brown (Fla.), Eddie Bernice Johnson (Texas), Elijah Cummings (Md.), Rick Larsen (Wash.), Michael Capuano (Mass.), Grace Napolitano (Calif.), Daniel Lipinski (Ill.), Steve Cohen (Tenn.), Albio Sires (N.J.), Donna Edwards (Md.), John Garamendi (Calif.), André Carson (Ind.), Janice Hahn (Calif.), Richard Nolan (Minn.), Ann Kirkpatrick (Ariz.), Dina Titus (Nev.), Sean Maloney (N.Y.), Elizabeth Esty (Conn.), Lois Frankel (Fla.) and Cheri Bustos (Ill.)
