Descartes Systems Group said it earned $2 million, or 3 cents a share, in its second fiscal quarter, compared with $800,000, or 2 cents, a year ago.
Revenue grew to $25.3 million, up 35% from last year, due in part to acquisitions. Service revenue rose 40% to $23.9 million.
Descartes, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, acquired Belgian-based Routing International, a route planning software company, for $4.2 million, during the quarter ended July 31.

Descartes provides logistics and management software and services.
