Eaton Names Vehicle Group President

Truck components maker Eaton Corp. has named Kenneth Davis to lead its vehicle group, effective Jan. 1.

Joseph Palchak, the division's current president, will retire at the end of June, the auto and truck components maker said Monday.

Davis is currently the vehicle group's president for the Americas, a role which will not be filled after his promotion, Eaton said.

“Ken’s deep knowledge of the vehicle segment combined with his global business experience and strong leadership skills will be instrumental as we continue to grow in critical markets around the world,” said Craig Arnold, vice chairman, to whom Davis will report.

Davis has worked for Eaton since 1986.

Palchak, who joined Eaton in 1973, will stay with the company until June to assist with the transition, Eaton said. He has led the vehicle group since June 2008.
