EBE Technologies said it is offering a new application, dubbed Xpress Mobile Capture, which enables drivers to submit business documents via mobile devices while communicating with carriers’ back-office systems.
XMC integrates with dispatch, safety and human resources systems to send notifications to drivers regarding required documents while validating the accuracy of the documents submitted, EBE said.
“The XMC application becomes the driver’s automated personal assistant that keeps the driver informed of needed documents and deadlines,” Larry Kerr, president of EBE Technologies, said in the Sept. 22 announcement.
He said the new application can improve driver satisfaction because they are never surprised by what’s in their settlement check since they will know instantly if the required paperwork was processed in time.
Carriers can configure XMC to capture any documents they require, including proof of delivery, toll receipts, commercial driver’s licenses, insurance certificates, medical cards and over, short and damaged forms.
EBE made the announcement at TMW Systems’ annual TransForum user conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
