SAN ANTONIO — EBE Technologies and Vigillo announced a commercial partnership intended to integrate and accelerate carrier onboarding and compliance management in a paperless environment.
The announcement, made at the Transportation Intermediaries Association Conference & Exhibition here, is targeted at the technology providers’ mutual clients, including a shorter time from introduction to full enrollment. The integration combines EBE’s carrier qualification application with Vigillo’s archive of CSA performance data. When used in combination with a TMS system, carriers whose CSA score worsens can be removed from active dispatch or be selected for corrective action, the companies’ statement said.
“This partnership will help logistics providers make better choices in the onboarding of a carrier and help mediate possible liability associated with carrier claims,” said Larry Kerr, president of EBE.
“Since hundreds of brokers utilize Vigillo for their CSA data, this seamless, real-time integration saves them time in seeking alternative carrier safety information during the onboarding and vetting process,” Vigillo’s CEO Steve Bryan said.
