Logistics firm Expeditors International of Washington said its fourth-quarter profit rose 12% to $70.1 million, or 32 cents a share, from $62.6 million, or 26 cents, in the previous fourth quarter.
Revenue jumped 16% to $1.45 billion, the company said late Monday. Net revenue rose 13% to $379.4 million.
For the full year, Expeditors earned $269.2 million, or $1.21 per share, up from $235.1 million, or $1.06 per share, in 2006.
Full-year revenue rose to $5.2 billion, from $4.6 billion.
Seattle-based Expeditors International of Washington is ranked No. 18 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics companies.
