FedEx Ground Expands Network with New Distribution Hub

The new distribution center, located near Greensboro, N.C., employs a workforce of more than 550 full- and part-time employees, the company said. FedEx Ground said the facility is its 11th new hub since 2002, while more than 500 local facilities have been expanded or relocated.

The new distribution hub is part of the company’s ongoing nationwide network enhancement plan, which has accelerated ground delivery service by one day or more in more than half of the United States, FedEx Ground said.
